CARE INSTRUCTIONS

Steel Frames:

Chromed        Do not place outside

                        Wipe down if the frame is wet

                        Do not use in coastal areas.

Painted           Repair scratches with touch up paint

Aluminium Frames:

Clean with a mild detergent, rinse and dry thoroughly.

Galvanised Steel with Clear Coating:

Chipping and breaking of the clear coating does not expose the frame to rust. Repair with a light sand and application of Chrome paint spray.

Timber Frames;

Suitable for indoor use only.

Vinyl Woven Seats:

Clean with water, a mild detergent and a sponge. Then rinse thoroughly and allow to dry. Use a soft nylon brush to remove more stubborn dirt and grime.

A build up of dirt can be removed with an application of Gumption, a soft nylon brush and plenty of strong flowing water.

Do not apply:

            Vinyl protectants such as Armorall

            Cleaning products with bleach

            Cleaning products that have abrasive materials in them.

            Cleaning products that may produce a chemical burn.

Polypropylene Seats

Same as for vinyl seats.

Stubborn dirt can be removed with Spray and Wipe instead of Gumption.

Seats in timber or upholstered:

Suitable for indoor applications only.

Clean timber seats with damp cloth.

Clean fabric seats with suitable fabric cleaner

Stacking of chairs;

We recommend that chairs are stacked only to four. Over time, over stacking can damage the chairs due to the excessive weight of the stack.

Do not drag the stack of chairs to move them. This action will damage the frame of the chairs over time and also reduce the life of the feet on the chairs.

Tables:

Do not move tables by lifting with the table top. This may result in the top being pulled away from the base. Lift with a hand on the column of the base and a hand on the top.

Laminate Tops

            Suitable only for indoor applications.

            Avoid excessive applications of water as it could cause the edges to swell.

Stainless Steel Tops

These tops lightly scratch with normal usage. The scratches are not unpleasant and over time create a nice patina on the surface.

Clean with water and a damp cloth. Do not use an abrasive cleaning material like steel wool.
